Cuddoozle^™ story so far...

Cuddoozle™ by Naturally Norcott Inc. was conceived in 2004 by Interior Designer Margaret L. Norcott, Allied ASID, Assoc. IIDA and her husband, Guy Norcott, after their first child, Amelia Lee, was born on April 17th 2004.

Everyone is asking how Cuddoozle™ came to be? Well, isn't this how it usually goes: you find a void or see that something could be reworked and made better and then you usually let that thought go! Well, Margaret did not let her thoughts go this time! She jumped at the chance to create a few products that would make her life, and others, easier and more stylish at the same time!

She Says (Margaret, the Mommy):

It all started when I had trouble using the nursing pillow purchased in 2004. The first problem I encountered was my height, as I am 5-10-1/2 " and the pillow's height did not work for me.

Secondly, the fabrics did not 'WOW' me in the way I thought they should. I work around fabrics all day in my job as a designer, and felt that sitting with this nursing pillow around my waist up to five times a day would end up bothering me. Guess what, it did!

Thirdly, I thought that the baby's 'mess-ups' would soak right through the pillow cover and onto/into the pillow itself...and they did!

Fourthly the product did not give me sufficient comfort and support to easily feed my baby. So I decided to use the Memory Foam for the outer layers for super soft cushioning and a middle layer of firmer foam which provided more than enough support for feeding my baby.

Hence, I saw the need for creating a nursing pillow to address my concerns...and I thought that many other mothers must have been having the same experience.

I am happy to say our "Nursing Pillow" is officially Patent - Pending!

He Says (Guy, the Daddy):

Margaret's thinking has led to many other creations. My wife has a talent for taking an item, looking at it and seeing what does not work about it and how it could work better. She is a true think tank! In the end, many of the items she feels do not function or look good, well, she reworks the concept and adds new innovative features to the items and ~ viola! Margaret also came up with our company motto: "Form + Function = Fabulous Products", and she borrows part of that slogan from a famous architect she studied in Design School.

The Future (Margaret & Guy):

After the birth of their second child Noella Sophia on July 20th 2007, Margaret is now using the same product she redesigned 3 years ago.

"We strive to provide items that embrace our motto that "Form + Function = Fabulous Products!"

"This slogan truly applies throughout my life," says Margaret". Cuddoozle™ creator now has many products in the development and re-development stages.
